Mat Weddle of the pop-folk band Obadiah Parker (I assume the name has something to do with the beard) is seen here at a Scottsdale, AZ-area open-mic performing an acoustic version of Outkast’s Hey Ya. Even if this isn’t your cup of tea, there’s a lesson here for all of us – especially those “anything but country” fools (hat tip: Chuck Klosterman) – and that is: good music transcends genre.
