A Tenacious D tribute to the best song in the world! If only they had remembered the best song in the world and recorded an acoustic version. If you are a rock fan with even a mild sense of humor, it’d be near impossible not to enjoy this tune. They couldn’t have only been trying to be funny, because Tribute by tenacious D turned out to be a pretty cool rock song. (ok, this isn’t a 100% acoustic version, but Dave Grohl is playing drums with Tenacious D so it seemed like a good choice. Don’t throw tomatoes!)

You would expect to hear a thick, dark, frightening voice coming from Death, but apparently the old terrifying one is a softy at heart and can belt out a ballad if doing a cover of a song that is inspiring enough.  It was also quite impressive to see some decent acoustic guitar finger picking coming from skinless, finger bones. This is Death’s vulnerable side doing a cover of The Vaselines’ Jesus Don’t Want Me For A Sunbeam. Press play. Don’t be scared.

Well, this is an acoustic version of Wild Thing (I assume that is the song) that is definitely original! This kid splits his video into 4 parts to create a “one man band” that has two acoustic guitars, and two DJs that are trying to beat box. Funny kid with too much time on his hands! (j/k). Nice work and all in good humour!

Typically known as The Canadian Assman, Uncle D is singing a freestyle duet with a Cockatoo named Kiku. It takes a minute, but Kiku joins in on the song and even gets on tune with the same melody! Kiku seems to want the spotlight for himself and takes a stab at biting Uncle D’s ear. Luckily someone in the background yells “no biting!” Too funny! Check out Uncle D’s wild side Thurs nights on BlogTv.ca!
